I had to return to PJ and Jackie's home to take more photos of their brown-out inducing light display. I begged my buddy Scott to let me shoot his rare BMW M Coupe against their light display. What was I going to do? Use my rusty car?
If you think you've seen extreme Christmas lights before, think again. PJ and Jackie's winter lightscape is almost hard to believe. Starting in November, PJ and his sons use cranes to string the lights. Their yard brings joy to the neighborhood and smiles to the electric company executives.
My nephew Justin was in town for the weekend so of course I made him mow the yard, chop fire wood, clean the house and sit for a portrait. I... I mean WE had lot of fun. Justin shared some very good songs that he wrote too.
Lot's of children everywhere! It was a crazy 2 hours shooting 5 families with infants under the age of 1 year. I had lots of help from the parents, and I enjoyed meeting them all. Thanks to everyone for making the day a success.
The Gerber Baby food company must be missing a model, because I photographed her today. Lia is a 6 month old angel who loves the sound of the camera CLICK. It must run in the family since her Grandmother is a very successful portrait photographer. See the gallery.
The Barretts let me follow them around for a couple of hours to see what I could capture for their annual Christmas card. Here are some of the photos taken that day.
I saw the red hair first and freckles next. These kids were adorable. I was able to get a few photos in just a few moment's time. Thanks to their father for letting me snap a few shots.
The parking opportunities may stink at Piedmont Park, but the "photo ops" are primo. We tried all the best spots that beautiful crisp day. We can't wait to head back in the Spring time.
Jenny and I witnessed something special today at the Greek Orthodox Church on Clairmont Road. Our friends' daughter was baptized. Little Lia's grandfather sang beautifully during the ceremony.
Surprisingly, the Fall colors were brilliant this year. Most people thought the draught would dull everything down. These pictures are what I saw in my local area.
I have known the Humphreys for years and I got the opportunity to take some family photographs for them. The Fall colors were in full intensity and they almost look like flowering trees in Spring. We had a fun time.
